Pres. Weah pays courtesy visit to Ex- Pres. Sirleaf …wishes Her speedy recovery

President George Manneh  Weah has paid a courtesy visit to former President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, upon her return to the  country after undergoing a major surgery abroad.

The former Liberian Leader, who returned to Liberia recently, underwent a successful surgery to fix a suppressed nerve last year.

President Weah visited the former President, now 83 years old, at her Fish Market Residence on Thursday, January 5, 2023, to wish her speedy recovery.

In a social media post, Presidential Aide, Sekou Kalasco Damaro, published photos of President Weah chatting with former President Sirleaf.

Meanwhile, the move by President Weah has been widely praised by many Liberians who believed it is a demonstration of true leadership.

They want politicians to show compassion for each other in times of difficulty.
