Police discloses Another Armed Robbery Attack in Soul Clinic Community, Paynesville

Amid the ongoing investigation regarding the death of former Chief Justice Cllr. Gloria Musu Scott daughter; the Liberia National Police has disclosed another armed robbery attack at the home of another Liberian in the Soul Clinic Community in Paynesville, outside Monrovia.
Speaking on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Ministry of Information Culture Affairs and Tourism (MICAT) regular press conference, the Deputy Inspector General of the LNP, Col. Prince Mulbah, said the armed robbers fired arms at the home of CeCe Cooper in Paynesville and made away with several valuable items including huge sum of monies.
According to Col. Mulbah, the armed robbers used single barrel fire arms and short range weapons to carry out the act.
However, he said with the intervention of the LNP personnel, who went on a tactical move, managed to rescue the situation.
He recalled that during the attack two of the armed robbers got wounded by the LNP personnel, but one was taken to the John F. Kennedy Medical Center for treatment while the other is still on the run.
Meanwhile, Col. Mulbah reaffirmed the LNP Commitment in ensuring that full skill investigation is carried out and the perpetrators faced Justice.
He disclosed that officials of the LNP have staged a man hunt for the perpetrators in the country.
At the same time, he confirmed that the former Chief Justice Cllr. Gloria Musu Scott and her family are cooperating with the Investigation team to ascertain information leading to the death of their daughter.
Col. Mulbah mentioned that persons of interest in the investigation have been investigated but no arrest has been made so far by the LNP.
He then urged the citizens not to panic, stressing that the state securities are doing everything to ensure the safety of all Liberians.
