The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has issued a public notice, ordering all officials of the Government of Liberia to declare their assets before leaving office.

The declaration involves providing a comprehensive list of properties, financial holdings, investments, and any relevant financial interest.
LACC Executive Chairperson, Cllr. Alexandra Zoe told a news conference on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 that all officials have up to Tuesday, December 12 to file their asset declaration to the Commission.
Cllr. Zoe said:” The move is to ensure transparency and accountability, and will demonstrate the outgoing officials’ commitment to the promotion of a corruption-free system.”
The LACC Executive Chairperson urged officials to cooperate, stressing that the Commission will institute potential penalties consistent with law, on officials failing to meet up with the December 12 deadline.
