The Secretary General of the former ruling party, Coalition for Democratic Change, CDC, of George Weah, says he wants to be investigated and prosecuted for everything people said he has done in this country.

“I want them to investigate me and prosecute me. All the things they said I have done in this country, this is why I am here, I have not taken a step out of the country and will continue to be here.” Jefferson KOIJEE said recently on a local radio.

Former Lord Mayor, now Secretary General of the CDC, Jefferson KOIJEE was seen as the most powerful man of the George Weah’s regime.

Consequently, his name was always mentioned in numerous activities of murder and corruption, something which he always came to defend himself, he even challenged his accusers to provide evidence.

Because of his position in government at the time, coupled with influence, people believed he could be fairly investigated only after he has left power.

Many thought he would have fled the country after the elections to avoid being prosecuted for what he was accused of.

“I am open and willing to be investigated for everything, the accusations of murder, corruption.” Jefferson KOIJEE told Freedom FM recently.
