Bukonjadeh warns Against Violence in Liberia

The Bukonjadeh Group of Companies has warned Liberians against violence during and after the electoral period in Liberia.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies Elton Johns, Liberians should do everything possible to ensure that the October 10, 2023 elections be peaceful, transparent and violence free.

Johns made the assertion Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the Capitol Building in Monrovia when a group calling itself “Real CDCians for the re-election of President Weah” honored the Bukonjadeh for buttressing government’s effort in the financial sector.

He stressed that Bukonjadeh is also engage with micro financing business which has empower ordinary Liberians in the sector.
He then described President Weah as a miracle child and a President who is striving to transform the development of the country and its people.

According to him, the writing is on the wall that President Weah will be re-elected by the Liberian people come October 10 and as real CDCians, they should go into their various communities to encourage people for his re-election rather than be violent.

Mr. Johns maintained that peace should be prioritized to ensure that Liberia attract direct foreign investments to create jobs for the people.

He noted that wrong images about the country will not encourage foreign investors to come and invest in the nation.

He said with several protests and demonstrations continue to undermine the progress and gain make so far under the regime.

Mr. Johns emphasized that the formarch of Liberia depend upon every Liberian effort to transform the socio and economic development of Liberia.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Real CDCians for the Re-election of President Weah Lovina J. Krangar said the recognition of the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies is due to its intervention of challenges facing the bank sector in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

Chairperson Krangar noted that Bukonjadeh intervened at the time when many families needed to meet up with their financial obligations and the banks would not meet up with their request but the company brought relief to many families financially across the country.

She said the Real CDCians understand the impact and the significant role the company during these difficult times.
