American Procurement Services Corporation-Liberia Head Office vandalized …Full Scale Investigation launched
Some unknown persons on November 30, 2022 at midnight stormed and subsequently vandalized the American Procurement Services Corporation-Liberia head office located at the corner of Warren Street and Camp Johnson Road in Monrovia.
Speaking to the media yesterday, December 1, 2022, afternoon at APSCO office in Monrovia, the senior advisor of the company, Sherlock Mahn, explained that the unknown persons broke into the offices of APSCO and made away some sensitive documents.
Already, APSCO is court with a big private company operating here. Mr. Mahn said that the crime is already been reported to the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the Liberia National Police (L NP) and that the CID has launched investigation into the crime.
The premises of APSCO is under the protective watch of a private Security agency, called the Wright Security Guard. Unfortunately, following the incident on November 30, the management wrote to terminate the contract with APSCO, but APSCO rejected the termination letter on grounds that investigations are ongoing until findings are concluded and made public before such decision can be discussed or reached. Mr. Mahn expressed shock and disappointment over the act especially during the time his company is fighting legal battle with another company.
He then expressed confidence in the Criminal Investigation Division for professional and those involved be brought to justice.
According to him, the unknown persons forcibly opened all offices of the two store building and burst all drawers but they did not temper any of his company asserts besides documents which the company considered as ‘sensitive’.
Mr. Mahn noted it is worrisome and scaring for him and his staffs to have unknown men broke in his offices and their only target was documents and valuable items. APSCO is an American Corporation organized in 2010 with its main office located in Wilmington, Delaware.
