MOBO Awards: From Goldie and Soul II Soul to Stormzy and Little Simz – a look back at 25 years of a game-changing ceremony

At the very first MOBOs in 1996, Goldie’s groundbreaking drum and bass debut Timeless won the award for best album and the ceremony posthumously awarded US rapper Tupac with the gong for best video for California Love. Twenty-five years later, the ceremony is still going strong.
